Dr. Al Barron | Project Manager
Project Manager Dr. Al Barron is a stakeholder engagement professional and specifically, a community advisory council / panel specialist with more than 25 years of experience in helping organizations and corporations connect more closely to and communicate more clearly with their communities and individual stakeholders. Dr. Barron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Studies, and a Doctorate in Education Administration. He has been published in The Black Collegian and The Black Student’s Guide to High School Success. Dr. Barron travels extensively speaking to
companies and organizations about the need for more education, books, help and training at minority institutions to give students the edge and professionalism to fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
Al is the former Director of Career Services at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has a successful track record of educating, advising and helping thousands of students develop interpersonal skills as they move from university life into the world of business. He is also a member of the Southern University Athletic Hall of Fame.
In addition to his work at the TJC Group, Al is a Commissioner for the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority, a board member for the Westminster Foundation, and President of Westminster Scotlandville. He is a ruling elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Scotlandville and is an original member of the North Baton Rouge community advisory panel.
